My approach is from a client-centered, culturally-sensitive lens, understanding that my clients are the experts of their own lives. From a trauma-informed perspective, I strive to create an atmosphere of safety and trust for clients, recognizing the impact our past experiences can have on our present-day functioning. Through our work together, we will navigate the complexities of your unique journey, fostering healing, resilience, and personal growth.
In my work, I incorporate practices from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Narrative Therapy but most of my work is done in an integrative way, which means that we will work collaboratively to find the most effective modalities for you.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that true well-being encompasses a holistic or bio-psycho-sociocultural approach. By incorporating nervous system regulation techniques, I aim to help clients navigate the physical and emotional aspects of their experiences, promoting a sense of balance and well-being.
